Perez Hilton was celebrating his 31st birthday, Saturday, at the Viper Room in Hollywood, where he received a bottle of champagne and a note from Zac Efron.

According to E! News, the note read, “Perez, Happy Birthday, May this year bring you lots of love, luck, and celebrity meltdowns. Zac.”

Hilton said of the gift, “Zac Efron just sent a big bottle of champagne to my room and I started freaking out like a little girl! I almost cried; I think I did cry a little bit.”
