The biological grandfather of Angelina Jolie’s new 3-year-old adopted Vietnamese son, Pax, is predicting trouble for the new family. A man identified as Chien, 55, told Britain’s News of the World that his daughter was a heroin addict who gave Pax up for adoption two days after birth.
“When she finds out that a rich movie star has adopted her baby, she will go after Angelina Jolie for money and make trouble for her,” he told the newspaper. “She may even try to take the child back.”
Chien said the child was the product of an affair with a married man. however, U.S. sources dismiss the article’s suggestion that the adoption could be contested because the papers were signed by pax’s grandparents, not his mother.
