Vanessa Hudgens has revealed her excitement at High School Musical co-star Ashley Tisdale landing her own spinoff movie.
It was recently announced that Tisdale will reprise the role of Sharpay Evans for the Disney Channel film, which sees her character relocating to New York after being discovered by a talent scout.

Speaking to MTV News, Hudgens – who played Gabriella – said: “I’m stoked for her and it’s going to be awesome.
“The fact is kids love Sharpay and I did love Sharpay too, her costumes and her clothes and everything. It’s so much fun, so I’m really glad she’s doing it.”
When asked if she might make a cameo appearance, she replied: “Maybe! If she’s like, ‘Hey!’ I’d be like, ‘OK!’ Well, she’s my best, best friend. I don’t know.”
The spinoff is scheduled to premiere next summer.
