Terrell Owens ( /?t?r?l/; born on December 7, 1973) is an American football wide receiver who is currently a free agent. A six-time Pro Bowl selection, Owens has been one of the dominant receivers of his era.[1] He holds or shares several NFL records, and features in the all-time top-5 in several receiving categories, including yards and touchdowns.

Best known for 2000 incident against the Dallas Cowboys where he repeatedly stood atop the Dallas Cowboys logo in mock tribute.

Missed the deadline for notifying the 49ers of his intent to void the final three years of his deal. Owens and his agent David Joseph claim they weren’t told the deadline was moved up to 21 February.
