John Mayer has allegedly bragged to friends about his romance with country singer Taylor Swift. A source claims the pair first hooked up at a Nashville, Tennessee recording studio in late January.

“She was sitting on John’s lap, her arms were around him, and she was talking in his ear,” says the insider. “They were acting like teenagers.”

A source recently confirmed Swift, 20, and Mayer, 32, are more than close friends. “They aren’t ‘boyfriend and girlfriend’ or anything as provincial as that, but they have taken their friendship to the next level,” the source said.

Neither Swift nor Mayer has commented. It was recently reported that Swift was back in touch with ex-boyfriend Joe Jonas while Mayer is chasing after ex-girlfriend Jennifer Aniston.
