Beyonce Knowles has pushed back the start of her Australian tour and cancelled two of her dates because of scheduling conflicts.
The Irreplaceable hitmaker was due to take her I Am… world tour Down Under with a show in Brisbane on 12 September (09).
But the singer has now rejigged the dates so she will begin the Australian leg of the trek in Melbourne on 15 September (09).
A statement from the star puts the delay down to an “unforeseen change in her international schedule”.
The reshuffling of the concerts means fans in Brisbane will be able to see the original opening concert on 20 September (09) but the second show due to take place on 13 September (09) has been cancelled.
Sydney will lose one of Beyonce’s three planned gigs there, with the star scrapping her planned performance at the city’s Acer Arena on 20 September (09).
Fans with tickets to the cancelled shows will be contacted later this week about refunds.

According to a celebrity gossip magazine, Us Weekly, Michael Jackson was set to perform a duet with son Prince, 12, during his upcoming sold-out London concerts.

Stuart Backerman tells to the magazine, “He wanted his kids to see him perform at least once to get the vibe of the Michael Jackson mania.”

Britney Spears is bringing “The Circus Starring Britney Spears” back to North America with a little help from special guests, Kristinia DeBarge and Ciara. Both artists are set to open for Britney during her return to Canada and the U.S. beginning August 20th.

Ciara, the 24-year-old Grammy Award winning artist, most recently seen as the opening act for Britney in London, will be joined by Kristinia DeBarge in August for the 20-city tour.

Daughter of 80′s pop star, James DeBarge, Kristinia got her start as one of the top 20 “American Juniors” when she was 13. She then went on to work with Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and landed her record deal with Island Def Jam two days before her 19th birthday. DeBarge’s current single, “Goodbye” can be heard on itunes and is featured in Nivea’s national television campaign.
