E! News can confirm that Sex and the City star Sarah Jessica Parker has parted ways with her signature mole.

“Yes, she’s had it removed,” said a source close to the actress today.

While reasons for the removal are unclear, we’re told the procedure was “no big deal.”

In photos taken last night of the actress making a public service announcement with Sheryl Crow at Yankee Stadium for the MLB All-Star game, Parker’s glowing face had a glaring absence: Her beauty mark had disappeared.

Looks like Carrie Bradshaw will be traveling a bit lighter should that SATC sequel ever come around.
