On family versus a career: “I like to ask people if they would rather have a great love that lasts a lifetime or an amazing career where you go down in history. Some people do answer that they want an extraordinary career.” FYI: Both Nicole and Jennifer said they would choose love!

On motherhood: “I had kids at 25 and 27 [Isabella and Connor, Nicole’s adopted children with first husband Tom Cruise]. I think I have more patience now but less physical energy. It’s a trade-off: In your 20s, you’re bounding around, they’re attached at your hip, and you can just go and do anything. But I’m much more of a homebody now. My roots are deeper.”

On what she would tell her 20-year-old self: “That you’re going to meet the love of your life. My whole thing, my whole thrust in life, was hoping I would.”

On moving to Nashville: “I love living a ways away. That’s what I’ve worked for in my career, to not have to live in Los Angeles. So it was fortuitous that Keith happened to live in Tennessee. He brought me down to this place called Leipers Fork, just outside of Nashville, very lush and rural. I just went aaah. You know how you dream as a girl; I’m one of those people. “I felt I became a star only by association. We would go to the Oscars and I would think, ‘I’m here to support him’. I felt it was my job to put on a beautiful dress and be seen and not heard,” said the 41-year-old during an interview with Easy Living magazine.

She joked that Sunday “looks so much like Keith, I call her Keith-ette. I didn’t even get a look in. I think she got my fair skin and that’s about it.”

“I call her a miracle baby because it was a miracle that I, at this age, had spent so many years trying to get pregnant, have two beautiful adopted children, and I just thought, ‘Well, it’s not my path, that’s not what I’m going to get to experience.’”

The little girl was named after the late Sunday Reed, a noted Australian art collector.

Kidman’s father suggested the name shortly after she discovered the sex of the baby. “We went, ‘Oh we love that name.’ Sunday, that’s our favourite day. Because I think there’s something to do with Sundays where, if you’re lonely, Sundays are a very lonely day. And if you’re happy and you’ve got your family and the things around you, then Sunday’s a beautiful day. So our baby’s called Sunday.”

The actress started dating the Hollywood star when she was just 22 – but she struggled to cope with his fame.

‘I felt I became a star only by association,’ she tells Glamour magazine.

‘I didn’t think [my early movies] were very good, which is why I would always cower in the background.

‘I thought, “I don’t deserve to be here”. We would go to the Oscars and I would think, I’m here to support him. I felt it was my job to put on a beautiful dress and to be seen and not heard.’

“It’s very modern with treetop and canyon views, and it has complete privacy,” the insider tells, which is four houses away from birthday girl Jessica Simpson’s home.

The house, which offers 4,100 square feet and features a pool and grassy backyard, also has an existing baby nursery that was done for a little boy, but “it can be easily changed for their little girl,” the source adds. “It is a very light home with floor-to-ceiling windows and lots of glass.”

Adds the source, “They’ve been looking for more than a year and finally decided this house was the one.”

A publicist for her musician husband Keith Urban says Nicole Kidman gave birth to a baby girl on Monday morning, July 7 in Nashville, Associated Press has reported.

The child has reportedly been named Sunday Rose Kidman.

Their baby has been Australia’s most eagerly anticipated arrival.

Urban fuelled rumours that the baby’s delivery was likely to be sooner than the public expected by dedicating a song to his “very, very, very, very pregnant wife” at his concent in Nashville on the weekend.

The couple had been nesting in Nashvile this month, amid speculation Kidman’s parents will fly in to be her side for the birth of her first child.

“So it would be nice to have 50,000 people sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to her,” he said – and brought Kidman on stage for a stadium-sized sing-a-long for the actress, who turned 41 on Friday.

A surprised and glowing Kidman, in a long flowing black floral tank top dress, blew the audience a kiss and returned backstage when the song finished.

Hollywood actress Nicole Kidman will not be naked when she appears on the front cover of Vogue magazine next month, reports reveal.

Ms Kidman, 40, will be around seven months pregnant when she takes part in the photo shoot but will not join fellow celebrity Demi Moore in being photographed in the nude with child.

A representative of the Moulin Rouge star said the actress and singer will wear a custom-made dress by Oscar-winning costume designer Catherine Martin instead, it has been reported.
