Natalie Portman covers the February 2011 issue of InStyle magazine. In the issue, the 29-year-old actress promotes Black Swan and her upcoming romantic comedy, No Strings Attached.

Portman’s interview snippets are below, along with a second image. She gives some general quotes about her two projects and elaborates how she felt filming those masturbation scenes on a set full of crew for Black Swan.

On how it feels to be engaged and pregnant: ‘This is the most private of private experiences,’ Portman told InStyle. ‘But I am completely awed by the whole process we are living through. I cannot express how lucky I feel.’

The 29–year-old found out the hard way when she asked if there was a doctor to help her when she injured her rib.

In an appearance on the US programme the Late Show with David Letterman, Portman, who plays a ballet dancer in the new movie Black Swan, said: ‘I injured a rib, I like dislocated a rib, it sort of went under another one, when you get lifted it just sort of went under.’

She added: ‘It’s funny because when I got injured I called the producer, I was like ‘Could you get the medic? I need an ice pack or something right now,’ and he was like, ‘Oh, we don’t have a medic because it’s super low budget.”

‘I have been working for like twenty years, I don’t even think that’s legal. I was like before you take away a medic, take away my trailer and the next day I didn’t have a trailer, I swear to God!’
