Gwyneth Paltrow has brushed off reports she was left fuming after movie bosses replaced her with Scarlett Johansson on posters for their upcoming movie “Iron Man 2.”

The actress, who plays Iron Man’s assistant Pepper Potts in the film, was said to be furious after learning promotional posters feature images of Johansson, who is set to star as the Black Widow in the sequel.

Mickey Rourke and Johansson, both newcomers to the “Iron Man” franchise, are featured standing next to Robert Downey Jr. in the publicity shots, but Paltrow has been left out altogether.

A source tells British newspaper The Sun, “Gwyneth was afraid she’d be upstaged by Scarlett and not being in the campaign was the final straw. She is furious she’s been left out.”

But a spokesperson for Paltrow has dismissed the reports, insisting the Oscar-winner doesn’t mind being left out of the posters: “She was not at all upset.”

“She (Miley Cyrus) was sort of hopping around the room and had even written some dialogue for herself,” a source said of Cyrus’ audition. “The problem is some people aren’t really convinced Miley has the acting chops to pull it off.”

Mila Kunis is in talks to star opposite Natalie Portman in Darren Aronofsky’s supernatural drama Black Swan, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The actress, who played Jason Segel’s love interest in “Forgetting Sarah Marshall,” is in discussions to star opposite Portman in Darren Aronofsky’s supernatural drama “Black Swan.” The movie centers on a talented ballerina (Portman) in the New York City Ballet who is tormented by a rival who might or might not be a figment of the dancer’s imagination. Kunis will play the rival, Lilly.

Black Swan is set to begin shooting in the fall in New York.

The folks at IGN just posted a brand-new one-sheet for Guy Ritchie’s upcoming “Sherlock Holmes.” This character poster entirely belongs to Rachel McAdams, who plays Irene Adler in the flick.

Robert Downey Jr. stars as Holmes, while Jude Law is on board as Watson. McAdams obviously plays his love interest, and Mark Strong will portray the villain.

“Sherlock” will make his way to the big screen Dec. 25, 2009. For the sake of it, I also posted the two previous character posters below. Enjoy!

IGN has debuted the new trailer for the R-rated Warner Bros. thriller Whiteout, starring Kate Beckinsale, Gabriel Macht, Columbus Short, Alex O’Loughlin, Shawn Doyle and Tom Skerritt.

In the film, Beckinsale plays Carrie Stetko, the lone U.S. Marshal assigned to Antarctica, who is investigating the continent’s first murder, which draws her into a shocking mystery.

Bloomberg reportedly that “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” generated $159.7 million in sales in its first five days in U.S. and Canadian theaters, trailing “Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen” for the best such opening this year.

In “Half-Blood Prince,” Harry and his friends Hermione and Ron are menaced by the growing power of the evil Voldemort and his Death Eater allies. The film includes the death of a major character and big changes for the trio.

Aliens in the Attic, also starring Carter Jenkins and Ruby & The Rockits‘ Austin Butler, a group of kids must protect their Maine vacation home from invading aliens. The movie opens Friday, July 31st.

Speaking on BBC’s Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, Emma Watson said kissing Rupert in the final film of the series was just about the most uncomfortable filming experience of her career so far.

“We did the kiss two weeks ago and it was the most horrible thing I’ve ever had to do,” Emma said. “There are millions of girls out there who would probably chop their left arm off to kiss [Rupert], but it just felt like incest. That’s the only way I can describe it.”

“It was fine that I was actually kissing him because I had my eyes closed so I could not think about the fact that it was him. The worst bit is when we had to open our eyes and look at each other because then I was just like, [laughter] and then we couldn’t keep going. But we did it in the end. Six takes — not bad. It could be worse.”

Rupert, echoed similar sentiments last week.

“We’ve known each other for 10 years so it was a bit like kissing my sister,”.

“Scream” creator Kevin Williamson is re-writing his screenplay after Neve Campbell refused to sign on.

Director Wes Craven recently revealed Courteney Cox and her husband David Arquette were set to participate and they were trying to get Campbell to take on the role of Sidney Prescott for a fourth time.

Now Williamson has to go back to the drawing board.

He told NYPost.com’s PopWrap blog, “I’ve had numerous conversations with Neve. She’s a friend. Nicest girl on the planet. It just ain’t workin’ out and it sucks for me. It was no cameo. I’d never play Sid out that way. And I ain’t got no Sid-less scenario. So, I don’t know yet what to do.”

Britney Spears is up for a new film called “The Yellow Star of Sophia and Eton,” the National Ledger reports.

The film will reportedly have Britney playing the main role of Sophia LaMont, who creates a time machine and travels back to World War II, when she meets a Jewish man named Eton at a concentration camp. The two then fall in love and travel back to the present day with the intention of getting married, but they are both killed by Nazis.

Britney Spears last appeared in the 2002 flick “Crossroads,” to incredibly bad reviews.

The “Monster’s Ball” actress is in talks to star in the thriller for 20th Century Fox.

The move follows Paul Verhoeven’s boarding to develop and direct the thriller, which Ralph Winter is producing along with Deborah Giarratana, Robin Guthrie and Susana Zepeda.

Based on the 2004 book by Kathryn Mackel, the story centers on a couple desperate to have a child who find themselves in an unbearable position when they find out the surrogate they hired to carry their baby is insane.

Halle Berry is interested in the part and Fox is keen to have her do it, though official dealmaking has yet to begin.

She would play the wife who wants to have the child.
