Yesterday the mother-of-three took some some valuable time out for herself yesterday as she hit the shops in Beverly Hills.
The 36-year-old former Spice Girl looked happy and relaxed as she tried on shoes with husband Stephen Belafonte.
Wearing a black and white patterned maxi dress, the singer tried on a pair of knee-length black bots in one store, and was later spotted holding a white and cream short boot.
But it wasn’t just Mel’s day to indulge in some retail therapy.
It looked like Stephen also made some purchases at upmarket retail store Barney’s, leaving with some suit jackets along with two large department store bags.

She gushed: ‘I wanna thank you ALL for your beautiful well wishes,it means a lot to me,you guys are the best,I am SOOOOOO blessed my heart is melting!!’
Mel even sent a thank you tweet to her husband. She wrote: ‘I didn’t think it was possible but I love you even MORE now honey,we have a truly amazing family xxxx’
Mel is already mother to Phoenix Chi, 12, from her marriage to Jimmy Gulzar and Angel, four, from her relationship with Eddie Murphy.

While her daughter who is currently the third of his marriage she named Madison Brown Belafonte.

Mel B is one of three former Spice Girls who are currently expecting babies, with Victoria Beckham having her first girl this Summer and Emma Bunton, aka Baby Spice, welcoming a new addition in May.

She said: “If I could have a dance-off with any celebrity it would probably be Britney Spears because I think she’s hot. I’ll tell you who else I think is hot, Rachel McAdams. I’d like to kiss her!”

The 35-year-old star – who raises three children with husband Stephen Belafonte – also revealed she is an unlikely fan of teenage singer Justin Bieber.

Mel met Justin, 16, at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards earlier this year and by the time she finished speaking to him she liked him as much as her daughter Phoenix.

She explained in an interview with website Popeater: “We went to the Kids Choice Awards and I’ve never seen my 11 year old so excited. She was thoroughly disgusted that I didn’t know whoJustin Bieber was. She gave me the whole run down of who he is, his music and this, that and the other. And then we actually got to hang out with him at the Kids Choice Awards and he was super nice, so I kind of get it.”

The plus-sized hit will now be hosted by Mel B [Melanie Brown], who was on the fifth season of “Dancing with the Stars.”

“We didn’t produce the first season of ‘Dance Your Ass Off,’” executive producer Dan Cutforth told reports at the Television Critics Association panel for the series. “Oxygen considered it a huge success. They looked at some things they wanted to change. Marissa was a fabulous host. She was great hosting the show and got great press, but they found in talking to the audience that there was a portion of the audience who loved her and a portion who didn’t connect with her. The core Oxygen audience grew up as Spice Girls fans, so they connect with Mel B.”

“Dance has been a big part of my life and a big part of my losing my baby weight,” Mel B. said when asked why she was interested in hosting “DYAO.” ““I saw bits of it last year and it got my heart. I lost 60 pounds [of baby weight]. I wish I had been on this show doing it. This show really gets you. That is why I want to be a part of it.”

When Spice Girl Melanie “Scary Spice” Brown and husband Stephen Belafonte made the decision to be wed in a secret Las Vegas ceremony in June 2007, it meant that several of their close friends and family weren’t on hand for the blessed event.

So now the couple is making up for it — They renewed their wedding vows over the weekend and flew their closest family and friends to Hurghada, Egypt, for the ceremony.

Mel and Stephen reaffirmed their commitment to each other at the exclusive Jaz Makadi Golf Hotel in Madinat Makadi, in front of guests including Girls Aloud star Sarah Harding, and UK TV personalities Denise Van Outen and Fearne Cotton.

Missing from the ceremony were Mel’s fellow Spice Girls — Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Emma Bunton and pregnant Melanie C — who she explains weren’t invited to the ceremony in order to keep it a low-key event.

“We decided to do it for the kids and we only want it to be a real intimate affair with the 10 closest people in our lives,” she explained.

The former Spice Girls star – who has a luxury home in Egypt – will also host a lavish wedding blessing party today, treating guests to a picturesque Red Sea cruise.

Mel and Stephen were seen soaking up the sun shortly before their renewal ceremony yesterday.

The loved-up pair sipped champagne and kissed as Mel showed off her fantastic figure in a skimpy white bikini.
