Conrad has yet to reply, but she developed a growing dislike for Spencer years ago during the filming of “The Hills.” She tried to convince Montag of his not-so-nice ways but was left in the dust when Montag moved in with Spencer, ultimately severing their friendship.

The tweet is likely a response to Pratt’s recent media storm against his soon-to-be ex-wife. TMZ has reported that Pratt has threatened to release a sex tape if the blonde starlet doesn’t do another reality show with him.

According to OK!, the reality star has started watching the show instead of her former programme The Hills.

“I haven’t seen [The Hills] since I left,” Conrad said. “But I watch Jersey Shore so I am still supporting MTV.”

She continued: “Last night was the highlight, it was a double episode. There was two! There’s this one part where Ronnie hits a guy and they don’t really get the hit… Ronnie knocks him out.”

Lauren Conrad added that her favourite Jersey Shore star is J-Wow, explaining: “She can throw a punch!”

The Hills star Kristin Cavallari, who replaced Conrad when she left, has also recently admitted that she loves Jersey Shore.

Lauren Conrad is looking forward to another foray into television after retreating from The Hills.

One source that she may pick as a material is her own fiction novel, “L.A. Candy”. “It’s one of my hopes,” Conrad told E! about her wish to get the novel being adapted.

“L.A. Candy” is a young adult novel that follows Jane Roberts, a beautiful young woman with sweet nature who moves to L.A. with her gorgeous childhood pal Scarlett. Jane has the ambition to be an event planner but once in the big city she is offered to star in a reality TV series.

Lauren Conrad who quit The Hills after five seasons fell off the list altogether after debuting at No. 56 in 2008. Pratt dropped to No. 81 after last year’s No. 36.

But a few Hills girls are still deemed sexy by the lad mag.

Audrina Patridge moved up to No. 57, from No. 74 in 2008. Whitney Port who decamped from Hollywood for The City makes her debut this year at No. 83.

Lauren Conrad recently said that she doesn’t plan on attending Heidi Montag and Spencer Pratt’s weekend wedding, telling, “Um, those are not in my plans, no.”

According to the Press Association she said, “I think that it was very nice of her to invite me, but I think that she didn’t really expect me to come.”

How have you changed since the first season?
Honestly, it’s difficult for me remember what I was like before I had a mic taped to me. But I think I’ve become a little bit more independent and not quite as.. I don’t want to say it, but pathetic. There are episodes that I watch when I actually annoy myself. I just want to be like, Get it together!

Do you think you’re a drama queen?
No. I think that there are times when I get caught up in the drama and I get upset. I can be a little sensitive to thinks, but I don’t think I ever wake up in the morning intending to cause problems. I think that there are definitely people who thrive on drama and they enjoy it. They need to keep their lives exciting. I’m happiest when I’m boring.

The 22-year-old star of MTV’s nonfiction series “The Hills” will pen a young adult fiction book series for HarperCollins, the publisher announced Thursday. The three-book series will be titled “L.A. Candy” and will be loosely inspired by Conrad’s transformation from teenager to reality TV star and fashion designer.

Conrad says, “I’ve always loved books that I could lose myself in, ones that would transport me to another place, but had characters I could relate to. I’m so excited to have this opportunity to write books like that for other readers.”

A spokesperson for HarperCollins insists the deal with Conrad is already creating waves in the literary world: “I’ve never seen a new project generate noise like the instant buzz that swept through our offices around this deal.

“‘The Hills’ and Lauren Conrad are household names among our staff.”

The first book in the series will be published summer 2009.

MTV.com reported that Lauren Conrad will grace the stage at this years Emmys in the form of one of her latest design creations!

Lauren has now confirmed to PEOPLE magazine that she will be designing at least one dress for next month’s Emmy Awards, calling it a “huge compliment”.

The designer of the Lauren Conrad Collection will be designing a dress for a number of the show’s “trophy girls” who bring the awards on stage for the eventual winner.

Lauren Conrad went on to say, “It’s a huge compliment to be asked to do that, and it was really amazing to be taken seriously.”

The invitation to design the dress is huge achievement for Conrad who has recently been scrutinised over the involvement in her clothing line.

“I didn’t even really respond to the rumours because they were so silly,” she said. “It was someone who knew how important the line is to me and knew that that would hurt me.”

In her new interview for the mag, the 22-year-old reality TV vixen reveals that what you see on the tube is not necessarily the full story in real life.

“I know I look tortured, but it’s a TV show and you don’t see all sides of people,” she explains. “‘The Hills’ is meant to be a dramatic show about relationships.”

The Orange County native and budding clothing designer also talks about becoming more Hollywood savvy, now that she’s in the spotlight; where to see and be seen — and alternately how to dodge the paparazzi; and the pitfalls of dating when everyone knows who you are!

“I’m at a point in my life where I’d need to be with someone who could understand [that I have to put my career first right now] and is willing to be part of the show,” she says, “But I don’t want to end up with a person who’d want to be on the show.”

The Hills star, Lauren Conrad wheeled her own luggage to the check-in desk, dressed in a purple hooded sweater pulled over her head, and sunglasses.

Lauren Conrad, 22, was the marquee name at Tuesday’s 9th annual Paws for Style event in New York benefiting the Humane Society and sponsored in part by Animal Fair magazine, which has Conrad on the cover of its summer issue with her rescue dog Chloe in an outfit that Conrad designed.

A press release promised Conrad would be among the “celebrity dog walkers” to strut down the catwalk with “dapper celebridogs” wearing “matching one-of-a-kind specially designed outfits.”

But when the schedule called for Conrad to walk with a dog named Toby at the end of the show, emcee Robert Verdi announced to the crowd, “Lauren Conrad ran for The Hills.”

Later, Wendy Diamond, founder of Animal Fair magazine, complained to PEOPLE at the event, “This is an event to raise money for homeless animals. It is not an event for Lauren Conrad and her assistant to party in New York at the All-Star weekend.”
