“The Hills” alum confirmed the news Wednesday on Twitter. “This time it’s official..Jay and I are engaged again,” she wrote.

Kristin Cavallari came out with the confirmation over their re-engagement a day after she was spotted sporting her 5.2 carat engagement ring while out and about in West Hollywood. One eyewitness told Life & Style that she “looked incredibly happy” during the November 29 outing, adding “She was definitely making a point to show off her engagement ring and couldn’t stop smiling.”

The former “Laguna Beach” babe looked to be in good spirits as she strolled through the terminal, with her “Dancing with the Stars” partner Mark Ballas close behind.

“I’m really sad,” Kristin Cavallari admitted. “But, I’d rather go out on top and have people be shocked than be like, ‘Thank god she’s leaving, it’s about time.’”

“It was the best experience I’ve ever had. I could not be happier.”

As for Kristin’s recently ended relationship with Chicago Bears quarterback Jay Cutler, ESPN pundit Skip Bayless says it’s for the best.

“I like the fact that he jettisoned his Hollywood starlet relationship. It wasn’t a good idea and wouldn’t have lasted,” he stated.

As for who facilitated the split? “She got dumped,” says another source. “Kristin is absolutely devastated. She can’t believe this is happening.”

The couple, who were planning a spring wedding, became engaged in April, when Cutler popped the question while on vacation in Mexico.

Last week, Cavallari Tweeted about her engagement party: “Thx to all my amazing friends for making my engagement party a blast last night!”

The lingerie lady and the former “Laguna Beach” babe both looked lovely as they posed for the paparazzi at the elegant dinner party, held at the Chateau Marmont.

She showed off her enviably tanned and toned figure in the outfit designed by Diesel and inspired by the event’s sponsor Skyy Vodka

Her bronzed and fabulously toned body was accented with make up by makeup artist James Vincent.

The makeup theme for the show was bronzed skin, sheer lips, bronze smoky eyes using Make up For Ever.

Rocking a Chicago Bears top with denim short-shorts, the former “Hills” star was spotted puffing on a cigarette while joking with friends during a break in the game day action.

The 23-year-old recently underwent ten plastic surgery procedures in one day, including a mini-brow lift, breast augmentation and liposuction.

Speaking to ET Online, Cavallari said: “I’ve seen the pictures. Who are we to say what she can and can’t do? We’re not the ones that have to live in that body.

“If it makes her happy, then go ahead. It’s not my body… Do I think she’s very young? Yes. I’m 23 and she’s 23, it’s very young to be getting that amount of work done. Would I do it? No. But it’s not me.”

Cavallari went on to say that she was not in a position to “judge” her co-star, saying: “If it makes her happy then I think it’s fine. It’s not me. I don’t have to deal with it.”

She added: “I’ve known Heidi since she was 18 and I’ve always thought she was beautiful, so it’s hard for me to see this transformation that’s taken place, but I love Heidi and she still has the same bubbly, sweet personality that I see.”
