Asked about her favorite exercise
“I call it The Bowler. Stand with your feet hip-width apart, and bend slightly at the waist, holding a 5-pound weight in your right hand. Squat, then swing your right hand up and left, across your body, and sweep your right foot to the left behind you, as if you’re bowling. Do about eight on each side. It’s amazing for the butt cheeks!”

As for working out,
“I mostly go for hour-long hikes with friends, but sometimes, I’ll do pilates or 20 minutes of calisthenics, like push-ups and sit-ups,”

Talking about her latest movie, Kristen Bell says ‘House of Lies pulls ‘the curtain up from big business.

“You see law shows, you see medical shows but you don’t often — I’ve never seen a show that was so relevant in the current zeitgeist with, you know, Wall Street tumbling and all the Occupy movements, and I feel like dirty business is unraveling,” she told OnTheRedCarpet.com at the show’s premiere recently.

“Every ‘Frontline,’ every ’60 Minutes’ is about who is screwing who at the top of the food chain and I feel like it’s about time that someone showed that underbelly in a sort of sophisticated, sleek way,” Bell added. “Don Chaedle’s attachment didn’t hurt as far as being attracted to the project because I think he’s so spectacular.”

She said to E!Online.com : “Nothing. I don’t have any plans,” she says with a laugh. “I don’t really care.”

Though being married may not be important to the couple, starting a family is. “We’ll do it. We’ll have some babies,” Bell (in a Zuhair Murad dress and Christian Louboutin heels) told Us. “It will be our gift to America.”

She recalls, “At Thanksgiving, which is about 15 people – 10 of which were over 75 – my sweet, sweet aunt… decided she was all of a sudden bit by a commy (comedienne) bug. And she says, ‘I’ve got a joke!’ And we all thought, ‘OK, this is weird.’”

And Bell was stunned when she heard what came next: “She looked at us and she said, ‘What has two thumbs and loves to masturbate? This girl!’ My cousins and I did not know what to do… You gotta know your audience – it was not appropriate.”

“I’m a burlesque dancer who’s an alcoholic, so I’m playing sexier than I’ve ever done before,” says the the former Veronica Mars star. “You won’t see me naked, wearing pasties and a G-string or anything. But you definitely won’t think of me as the girl next door either.”

Burlesque arrives in theaters on Nov. 24. It stars Bell, Christina Aguilera, Stanley Tucci, Julianne Hough, Eric Dane and Cher.
