The Almost Famous actress had a visit to her Brentwood home from Los Angeles Police Department officers at around 1am on Sunday morning after her celebrity guests – including Cindy Crawford, Courteney Cox, David Arquette and Tobey Maguire – made too much noise.

Kate – who was dressed as a 60s flight attendant – was asked to move the party indoors.

Rocknrolla actor Gerard Butler, who dressed as a cowboy for the event, caused a stir with female party guests.

A source said: “All the girls at the party were lining up to talk to Gerard. He left with two very sexy vampires.”
