Jessica Simpson may be pregnant, but that didn’t keep her from traveling to Indianapolis to watch the New York Giants play the New England Patriots at Super Bowl XLVI on Sunday.

“Fun at the Super Bowl!” she wrote with the pic that also showed the field at Lucas Oil Stadium. She later added that she had “stayed up past her bedtime.”

It’s no secret that Jessica Simpson is a big football fan, because her fiance is NFL tight end Eric Johnson.

As a mentor, Simpson shared some of her advice for new designers just breaking into the business. “I personally think that it’s important to understand who your consumer is and once you get detached from that, thinking you’re this hotshot designer is when everything goes to waste. It’s really being able to be a relatable person and brand and being able to translate that into your garment.”

“I haven’t started shopping for our wedding yet,” she admits. “When I got engaged, everyone thought I would get married immediately, but I have not put a single dress on, and by the time this comes out I will not be married! We’re just enjoying being engaged right now — and that’s honest.”

Unlike her previous relationships, Simpson felt a special connection with the Yale grad. “When I met him I just felt so comfortable with myself and where I was in my life,” she tells Lucky (on newsstands November 8). “If he didn’t want to be a part of it, he didn’t have to be.”
