Eminem nabbed 10 Grammy nominations tonight, including Best Album, Best Song, and Record of the Year.

Bruno Mars also scored big with seven nominations, followed by Lady Antebellum, Jay-Z and Lady Gaga, who each received six nods.

Katy Perry and Rihanna are both vying for four awards.

The Recording Academy also recognized Cee Lo Green’s tune, “F–k You,” which was nominated for Best Record and Song of the Year.

Justin Bieber was nominated for Best New Artist.

The song is about an abusive relationship and also features Rihanna.

He said: “When I did the song that I did with Pink I laid my parts first and kind of heard her on the record. I felt like she would smash this record, so I gave her a call and she was with it, so we did it.

“The other that I did with Rihanna is one of those tracks that I felt only she could pull it off.”

He told Skyrock FM: “Both of the records, I guess you just got to hear them to know what they are.”

Eminem went on to praise relative newcomer to the hip-hop world Lil Wayne, who he collaborated with on the ‘Drop the World’ track and Drake’s ‘Forever’ single.

He said: “I’ve always respected what Wayne does. Wayne to me is one of the greatest in the game right now.”

The Stan star was instrumental in landing 50 Cent – real name Curtis Jackson – a multi-million dollar record deal in 2002 and the pair has been close friends and collaborators ever since.

Jackson admits he would love to release a whole record with Eminem, but time restraints mean it is unlikely they will be able to write songs together.

He tells MTV.com, “We haven’t (seriously) discussed making an album together, ’cause we would have to sit collectively and create each song.
“Unless we was doing something where half of it was his and half of it was mine. And conceptually, maybe if he came up with the first six songs and I built the last six songs and we just featured on each other’s records, you know what I mean? We’d do that in a heartbeat.”

At the MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, Bruno shocked the celebrity-filled audience, viewers at home and — apparently — Eminem himself when he dropped from the rafters of the Gibson Amphitheatre via wires and landed on the rapper, with his bare butt just inches from Eminem’s face.

Eminem spoke with RapRadar.com about the incident in an article posted on June 3.

“Sacha [Baron Cohen, a.k.a. Bruno] called me when we were in Europe and he had an idea to do something outrageous at the Movie Awards. I’m a big fan of his work so I agreed to get involved with the gag,” Em said. “I’m thrilled that we pulled this off better than we rehearsed it. It had so many people going ‘nuts,’ so to speak. Everyone was blowing me up about it.”

Asked where he went after he stormed out of the theater, Eminem said, “After the ceremony I went back to my hotel and laughed uncontrollably for about three hours. Especially after I saw it on-air.”
