Having been a mother for just over a year now, R&B singer Christina Milian hit the beach in Miami over the weekend with her daughter Violet.

She says in the candid interview, she has no regrets about ending the marriage: “No matter what, you can’t change who you are. I know that now. I tried to be someone I wasn’t because I wanted my marriage to work,” Milian said. “But ultimately, if it’s not working, it’s not working.”Milian is now a mom to daughter Violet and says that being a mom gives her the greatest joy.”Being a new mother definitely makes me feel so much sexier than ever before,” she said. “There’s a certain responsibility that I carry being a mom that makes me feel very confident and so blessed. Christina Milian’s longtime music video director Ray Kay has confirmed the star is to wed R&B singer/producer The-Dream after blogging about attending the couple’s engagement party in Las Vegas on Friday.

Milian, who has been romantically linked to the Umbrella songwriter since February (09), sparked rumours she was heading down the aisle with The-Dream after she was recently spotted wearing a diamond ring on her wedding finger.
The singer/actress dismissed the claims, insisting rumours she was engaged were “pretty funny”.

However, Kay appears to have let slip the stars’ happy news after joining the couple’s friends and family at the Palms Resort & Casino to toast their impending nuptials.

Writing on social networking site Twitter.com on Friday, he said, “I’m at Christina Milian and Dream’s engagement party in Vegas.”

The latest rash of candid celebrity nudes began when intimate snaps of R&B star Cassie began doing the rounds online.

The singer responded to the photos by revealing on her blog that her computer had been hacked and snaps from her personal collection stolen.

Then on Friday, self-portraits of Rihanna posing in various states of undress emerged.

And apparently there’s more to come.

According to Missinfo, the leaked Cassie and Rihanna pictures aren’t the work of jealous exes or a canny bit of self-promotion.

Instead, they have been around for a while, and we should expect more Cassie and Rihanna candids to follow, alongside some ‘unauthorised’ snaps of Jennifer Lopez, Jamie Foxx, and Christina Milian.

Christina Milian has publicly forgiven ex-boyfriend Nick Cannon for cheating on her – and insists she couldn’t be happier for him now he’s married to Mariah Carey

Cannon broke the Dip It Low singer’s heart and she spent months dragging him down in magazine articles, but she admits she’s grown up since and now understands she was too young for such a serious romance.

Milian tells the new issue of King magazine, “We were both young, and as a young guy, he surrounded himself with women… It’s part of a boy’s temptation, especially at that age, so I understand. I’m definitely over it now, and I’m happy for him.”

The heartbreak of her well-publicised split from Cannon hasn’t wrecked Milian’s marriage and children dreams: “I want to have kids some day but not too soon. I’m not ready for marriage.”

Christina Milian is set to make a music comeback after signing a new record deal with social networking site MySpace, according to Contact Music.
The sexy star was dropped by her former label, Def Jam, in 2006 reportedly due to poor sales of her third studio LP So Amazin’ – which shifted just 163,000 in the U.S.
But the star is determined to make a triumphant return to the industry – and is adamant MySpace Records will help her on her way to the top of the charts.
She tells Billboard magazine, “I’ve been out of the game for one and a half years, and I think I’m long overdue for a comeback, so I’m treating this album like it’s my last chance to make an impression. I’m competing with myself and being very detailed.
“Before, I had a label telling me what direction to go in. Now, it’s my choice, so I’m being very particular about it and I’m really excited.”
The 26-year-old’s new track Us Against The World will be released on 6 October (08).
