Looks like Rihanna should have consulted your high school French teacher before getting her latest tattoo. The music superstar’s newest ink reads “rebelle fleur,” but someone forgot to tell the ‘Rude Boy’ singer that in French, adjectives typically follow the nouns they modify. To translate as “rebel flower,” which we assume is what she intended, that tattoo should read “fleur rebelle.”

MTV News caught up with the star this week in Washington, D.C., where Angelina Jolie was promoting “Salt,” and MTV had to ask about the tattoo. But the actress was tight-lipped about what the ink, on her inner thigh, actually said.

“Um, it’s for Brad,” Jolie demurred with a smile.

“I actually think it’s important to be completely honest, however difficult that may be,” Jolie told us about what makes a relationship successful. “I’m bad at hiding secrets anyway,” she added.

Megan Fox has revealed that she has a new tattoo to honour actor Mickey Rourke.

Fox, who stars alongside Rourke in her new movie Passion Play confessed she felt a bond with The Wrestler actor, so much so that she got inked as a tribute to him.

The Jennifer’s Body star told our US team: “Mickey is such a beautiful, wonderful human being. He’s so genuine and so sweet and so talented.”

She gushed: “I just love him to death. I kept telling him that he needs to have kids, because I think he’s going to be an amazing dad. I hope he does that soon.”

The actress, who recently quit her role in Transformers revealed: “I actually got a tattoo that is sort of in honour of him,”

“It’s on my ribs. I don’t know if it’s been photographed yet, but it’ll come out eventually, I’m sure. I just love him very much and think he’s very special.”

The 19-year-old singer, Pixie Lott revealed to the Daily Star she is thinking about getting a tattoo done and has been inspired by Lady GaGa, who this week had ‘Little Monsters’ – the nickname she has for her fans – tattooed on her wrist.

Pixie said: “I was thinking of getting a tattoo but I don’t want to get it where you can see it – I could get a tattoo for my fans like Lady GaGa did.”
