Paula Abdul may be returning to American Idol for this week’s final show.

During the sing off that will see either Crystal Bowersox or Lee DeWyze scoop the 2010 winners title, sources report that former Idol judge may make a brief return to the talent show.

PEOPLE reports that Paul will be back this week, along with pop superstar Christina Aguilera.

Lady Gaga has revealed through Twitter that she will be appearing on the May 5 episode of American Idol.

The message, posted last Friday, said, “See you on American Idol. May 5th, Little Monsters.”

The March 24 episode of “American Idol” result show saw live performances from Disney stars, such as Joe Jonas, Demi Lovato and Miley Cyrus. While Joe and Demi shared the stage on the Thursday night show, Miley opted to go solo during her set.

Joe and Demi delivered their duet song “Make a Wave” which is recorded for the mouse house’s 2010 Friends for Change: Project Green. “Good chemistry between these two onstage right now,” host Ryan Seacrest joked after the singers, who are currently seeing each other, finished their performance.

That’s right, Miley Cyrus is going to try to give singing advice to Crystal Bowersox, who has already admitted on national TV she had no idea what “American Idol” was, and who we expect is going to reveal she has no idea who Miley Cyrus is, which is going to cause Miley’s head to explode in a hail of sparkles and ponies and rainbows.

And, the next night, Joe Jonas and Demi Lovato — who are totally dating! — are going to perform during the Whack-an-Idol episode.

American Idol’s five female finalists are singing Fergie’s “Glamorous,” they’re really vamping and it’s quite good, actually.

Megan Joy just has natural attitude, Allison Iraheta is always great, Jasmine Murray looks great, Alexis Grace is a total pro and Lil Rounds can sing anything.

Fergie then walks out, sings “Big Girls Don’t Cry.” She’s not bad, a bit short; and then Allison introduces the Black Eyed Peas, doing “Boom Boom Pow.”
