Bynes posted on her Twitter this Saturday how she is no longer enthralled with the life of an actress.

The post stated:

“Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it. I don’t love acting anymore, so I’ve stopped doing it.”

She added:

“I know 24 is a young age to retire but you heard it here first I’ve retired,”

According to USA Magazine Bynes also shared:

“I’ve never written the movies & TV shows I’ve been a part of. I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play.”

Amanda, since her humble beginnings on “All That” went on to have two different TV shows of her own. She also acted in several films over the last ten years up until 2007.
