Rachael Taylor (born 11 July 1984) is an Australian actress and model. She made her leading role debut in the short-lived Australian program headLand. She then made the transition to Hollywood, appearing in the films Transformers, Shutter, and Splinterheads.

Briefly attended the University of Sydney before deferring her studies to appear on “Headland” (2005).
Her role as “Sasha Forbes” in “Headland” (2005) is the first time she has played a character with her native Australian accent.
Born in Launceston, Tasmania, Australia but at the age of 16 she moved to Sydney, Australia.
Keeps her native accent in Transformers (2007) to emphasize the global scope of the movie.
Was crowned ‘Miss Teen Tasmania 1998′ in her home state of Tasmania, Australia.
Turned down the part of ‘Danni Martin’ in Surfer, Dude (2008).
