Penelope Cruz Kiss Scarlett Johansson
Penelope Cruz has told of how the crew on her latest movie packed the set to watch her kiss Hollywood hottie Scarlett Johansson.
Cruz says of the girl-on-girl scene that it is tame for contemporary audiences – but it still got the film crew hot under the collar.
“But I’ll tell you one thing,” she told London’s Daily Mail, “the day we did that scene the set was crowded. I think it was supposed to be a closed set, but these guys made a lot of excuses to be there…”
The spell-binding Spaniard also tells of her love of working with filmmaking master Woody Allen.
“Woody gave us a lot of freedom to improvise with the language,” she said.
“And a lot of the words were terrible. And I would go home and worry about it!
“I’d think, ‘Woody has given us all this freedom to improvise, and he’s going to be in the editing room with a translator and then he’ll find out what I was saying…’
“But I don’t think he minded too much – some of them are still in the movie!’
‘Working with Woody was wonderful.
“I’ve loved his films for so long and I watch them all the time.”
