Britney Spears reportedly baffled staff at a Los Angeles hotel after mimicking Stewie from US animated series Family Guy.

The singer has reportedly become obsessed with the show and has been addressing Mondrian Hotel staff with the fake English accent.

“Britney has developed a real fascination for Family Guy. She’s been staying in the hotel’s penthouse suite and has been watching box sets,” a source told The Sun.

“She really likes Stewie and has been trying to copy his British accent. It’s a bit weird, especially when she’s in the gym speaking like a camp Brit.”

Last year, Family Guy creator Seth MacFarlane ruled out a Spears cameo in the show.

Lauren Conrad has revealed that she loves Jersey Shore.

According to OK!, the reality star has started watching the show instead of her former programme The Hills.

“I haven’t seen [The Hills] since I left,” Conrad said. “But I watch Jersey Shore so I am still supporting MTV.”

She continued: “Last night was the highlight, it was a double episode. There was two! There’s this one part where Ronnie hits a guy and they don’t really get the hit… Ronnie knocks him out.”

Lauren Conrad added that her favourite Jersey Shore star is J-Wow, explaining: “She can throw a punch!”

The Hills star Kristin Cavallari, who replaced Conrad when she left, has also recently admitted that she loves Jersey Shore.

The Pussycat Dolls singer – who recently split from Formula One racing driver Lewis Hamilton after almost two years together – reportedly ended their relationship in order to further her acting ambitions and has set her sights on taking on the lead female role opposite Daniel Craig in the next movie about iconic British spy James Bond.

A friend of the star said: “Nicole is fiercely ambitious and didn’t want to spend her next few years following Lewis around the globe. He wanted her to be his companion as he went from one place to another, but she was not prepared to pack in her career, and that led to a number of arguments.

“She has lined up some meetings in Hollywood. Nicole is very athletic and sees herself in action movies. She has even said her ideal role would be to star as the next Bond girl. Why not? She has the looks and the physique for it. ”

The 43-year-old actress’ newest fragrance will have notes of jungle cactus flower, blackberry creme and tonka bean, according to People.

Pure Orchid will start at $17 for a .5-oz bottle and will be available in stores starting in February.
