Nina García, (born May 3, 1965)is a Colombian fashion journalist and critic who has held the post of Fashion Director at Elle and Marie Claire magazines, and is currently a judge on the Lifetime reality television program Project Runway.

Born and grew up in Colombia, and moved to the United States at the age of fifteen to go to school.
Studied liberal arts at Boston University and later attended the Fashion Institute of Technology.
Had an internship which grew to a full-time job working in Perry Ellis’s public relations department.
The fashion director of Marie Claire magazine.
Attended boarding school at Dana Hall, Wellesley, Massachusetts.
Gave birth to Lucas Alexander Conrod, 7 lb 6 oz (3.3 kg), on March 24, 2007.
At age 43, she gave birth to her second child, a boy named Alexander David Conrod, in November 2010.
