She wins another trial delay!!! Horay!!!

Nicole Richie’s lawyer has forced another delay in the star’s trial for driving under the influence of alcohol, according to reports.

Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office spokeswoman Jane Robinson said: “The trial will not happen (today).

“Richie’s attorney filed a motion… stating that their key witness, a drug expert, was unavailable for trial.”

Both sides are due to appear in court on Wednesday to discuss the motion – but whatever the outcome, the trial will be delayed for at least one more day.

Richie had previously told CBS “Late Show” host David Letterman that she was worried about landing in jail, but was “willing to face whatever consequences come my way, and I take responsibility for what I’ve done.”
