Socialite Nicole Richie is planning to save on-off boyfriend Adam ‘DJ AM’ Goldstein a fortune when the couple get engaged for the second time – she plans to use the diamond from her first ring. According to an insider, Nicole Richie would have donned her old ring if she wasn’t so superstitious about jinxing the romance with a ring she cast aside when they split. American magazine In Touch claims Richie recently met with jewellery designer Nancy Davis, who designed her first ring, about creating a new design. A source says, “She wants a ring that doesn’t hold any memories of the break-up.” Meanwhile, Richie is already telling her pals that she and Goldstein are “unofficially engaged”, according to Life and Style magazine, and they plan to marry later this year.
