Mary Kate Olsen:”I run around my house naked with heels all the time”

While Mary-Kate Olsen has said she has to plan her life around hiding from the paparazzi, she’s admitted that behind closed doors, she lets it all hang out.

She told Harper’s Bazaar recently: “I run around my house naked with heels all the time. It’s so funny. All my friends will tell you I love running around in kimonos and jewellery or naked with jewellery.”

She added that while she is often criticised for her fashion choices in the media, she stands by her look: “I dress the way I feel instead of looking for what’s the new handbag.”

“Heath Ledger, Johnny Depp – men, they just dress the way they want, and they don’t think about [appearing in] ‘Who Wore It Best’.”

But she thinks her style is catching on: “Sometimes I’ll look at people or at a magazine and I’ll do a double take because I’m like, ‘Oh, my God, that’s my outfit, but that’s not me’.”
