Remember when musicians used to write songs? Now they write ringtones.Mariah Carey has signed a deal with Pepsi to write and record ringtones that will be used in a promotion with Motorola phones. Carey will create 20 original music and voice ringtones for the promotion.

She’ll also appear in commercials that will begin running in May.
