Mariah Carey wons two awards, best female album and best female single at the Soul Train Music Awards.
Mariah Carey who won three Grammys last month – picked up the honours for her album ‘The Emancipation of Mimi’ and the song ‘We Belong Together’ at the 20th annual awards ceremony.
Mariah said: “This has been the biggest and most successful year of my life.”
The beautiful star staged a comeback last year after her career took a downturn following a series of debacles that included a contract buy-out by Virgin Records.
Honorary awards went to Stevie Wonder, Jamie Foxx and Destiny’s Child.
