He’s astonishing in ‘The Dark Knight.’ He’s mind-blowing. I’ve rarely seen anything like it, anything so free. Being around him, acting with him, was so much fun; when someone is that free, it rubs off on everyone. He [was] so different than the Joker — he [was] so gentle and open-hearted and kind — that the transformation is even more incredible.
