Hollywood starlet Lindsay Lohan caused a stir at the Venice Film Festival yesterday when she proudly displayed a dazzling ring on her engagement finger.
The 20-year-old wore a solitaire diamond on her ring finger as she walked the red carpet for the premiere of her new film at the Venice Film Festival yesterday.
But earlier in the day she wore what appeared to be the same ring on her middle finger.

Boyfriend Harry Morton, whose father founded the Hard Rock Cafe chain, was spotted shopping in Cartier last week and the couple enjoyed a romantic break in Hawaii before jetting into Venice.
The pair arrived at last night`s premiere for the film Bobby arm-in-arm.
Lohan looked stunning in a white and silver floor-length gown with plunging neckline.
She signed autographs for the crowd before joining co-star Christian Slater and writer-director Emilio Estevez.
Bobby tells the story of US Senator Robert Kennedy`s assassination on June 5, 1968.
It is set in LA`s Ambassador Hotel, where Kennedy was shot by gunman Sirhan Sirhan after attending a party to celebrate his victory in the California primary.
His death is seen through the eyes of 22 characters in the hotel in the hours leading up to the assassination.
Former Brat Packer Emilio Estevez wrote, directed and appears in the film, which took him six years to bring to the big screen.
Its all-star cast includes Sharon Stone, Demi Moore, Christian Slater, Sir Anthony Hopkins, Harry Belafonte and Estevez`s father, Martin Sheen.
Lohan plays a young bride-to-be who agrees to marry a friend in order to save him from the Vietnam draft.
At a press conference for the film, the party-loving actress ducked all questions about her bad girl behaviour and insisted she was a serious actress with a keen interest in politics.
She also spoke about plans to emulate her heroine Marilyn Monroe by entertaining US troops abroad.
The star said she was looking forward to spending a few days in Venice.
“It`s beautiful and it`s very romantic and it`s a wonderful place. Just being here is overwhelming,” she said.
