Liv Tyler was driving alone and saw the incident taking place on the sidewalk – someone who appeared to be a grandmother or caretaker for a boy was screaming at him and hitting him on the chest as he sat in his stroller wailing.
Liv Tyler almost caused an accident and she hit the brakes, did a U-turn, and pulled over on the side of the road to reprimand the woman. Unfortunately the woman didn’t speak English and kept telling Tyler “No entiendo. (I don’t understand.)” Liv was telling her “You can’t do that! I’m going to call the police; I’m going to call Child Services!”
Liv tried to comfort the crying boy and when she finally walked away to go back to her car, she told X17, “When I saw that, I couldn’t take it. I had to do something.”
