Lily Allen Pregnant With First Baby

A rep for Lily Allen has confirmed her surprise pregnancy!

The singer, 22, is expecting a child with Chemical Brothers’ Ed Simons, 37.

Says Lily Allen’ publicist:

“I am pleased to confirm that Lily Allen and her boyfriend Ed Simons are expecting their first child.

However, as the pregnancy is at a very, very early stage, the couple ask that you respect their privacy, as the health of Lily and their child is their paramount concern. As the pregnancy is at such an early stage the couple will be making no further comment but they are obviously both thrilled by the news.

Lily’s new album will be released as planned next year.”

Lily and Ed have only been dating since September.

“Lily is thrilled to be pregnant and can’t wait to become a mum,” a source close to the singer tells The Sun.

“She’s a real family person. Ed’s very happy. He is really looking after her. Lily could not be happier. It’s the icing on the cake for what has been an incredible 18 months for her. She is looking forward to finishing her new album early next year and releasing it before the birth of her first child.”
