Kristen Stewart won the Best Female Performance at the 2009 MTV Awards last night at the Gibson Ampitheatre in Los Angeles. The accolade was awarded to the 19-year-old actress for her lead role as Bella Swan in Twilight.
The award was presented by the trio of Cameron Diaz, Sofia Vassilieva and Abigail Breslin.
