Kelly Clarkson has blasted her record label bosses for choosing to release Already Gone as her next single – because it sounds too similar to Beyonce Knowles’ hit tune Halo.

The American Idol winner has been forced to defend the track after receiving criticism for its likeness to Beyonce’s recent release, but Clarkson insists any comparisons are down to songwriter and OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, who worked with both artists on their respective songs.
