Keira Knightley To Release Album

Keira Knightley has recorded three songs for her new film The Edge Of Love.

It’s the first time the British actress has used her singing voice for a movie soundtrack- she’s previously admitted it’s not her strong point.

Keira Knightley said: “I can’t really sing I had to have a few lessons, but once I started doing it, a sound emerged that wasn’t too disagreeable.”

The Edge Of Love is written by Knightley’s mother and is the story of Welsh poet Dylan Thomas. It also stars Sienna Miller and Cillian Murphy.

The movie is set for release in Autumn 2008. It looks unlikely Keira will launch a pop career alongside her film work- though we would love to see it!
