Katy Perry and Lily Allen became embroiled in a war of words after the US star described herself as a “slimmer version of Lily Allen” but the ‘Hot N Cold’ star insists she never meant to cause offence.

Katy told Heat magazine: “I really didn’t mean to upset her. What I actually said was that I was a skinnier version of Lily Allen and a fatter version of Amy Winehouse. But Lily is skinny now. She is hot – she looks really good.”
