Katie Holmes’ sex scene in new film Thank You For Smoking will be seen by moviegoers – despite reported opposition from husband Tom Cruise.

In the flick, Katie, 27, will be seen romping with co-star Aaron Eckhart.

Director Jason Reitman said: “It’s humorous humping. It’s Katie and Aaron gyrating back and forth.”

A spokeswoman for makers Fox Searchlight, added: “The film has never been altered. It will be released with the scene.”

Rumours that the sex scene would not feature in the film, in which Katie plays a reporter with Aaron as a lobbyist for the tobacco industry, began when it was cut from the premiere.
