Women would be pleased to see singer and guitarist John Mayer without his shirt, and yes, he has done it as he makes it to the cover of this month’s Rolling Stone magazine.

According to reports, that is not all that Mayer is taking off, as he also takes off some tension and tells all about how he is not proud of the way things ended between him and America’s sweetheart Jennifer Aniston.

“I’ve never really gotten over it,” he tells the latest issue of Rolling Stone. “It was one of the worst times of my life.”

The 32-year-old singer who dated the 40-year-old actress in April 2008 after spending a romantic time together in Miami and split twice -with the last being last January- had since told the press to blame him for the break-up with Aniston.

“I’m such an assh***. I burned the American flag and basically murdered an ideal,” he said in the mag.
