Jennifer Hawkins may have knocked back the chance to star in the next Pink Panther movie, but she still proves to be a pretty cool cat.
Cementing her reputation as a fashion chameleon, the former Miss Universe will grace this month’s cover of the style bible Harper’s Bazaar.
The magazine’s editor, Alison Veness-McGourty, said: “She may have turned down the role in Pink Panther, but we thought it would be fun to see Jennifer Hawkins star as the pink one.
Hawkins had been offered the lead role in the next Pink Panther film, but her hectic schedule left her no choice but to turn it down.
Production on the film, starring Steve Martin as Inspector Jacques Clouseau, began last month.
Hawkins, a former Newcastle Knights rugby league cheerleader, is one of Australia’s most popular identities, with numerous television and modelling commitments including a presenting gig on Channel 7′s The Great Outdoors.
