Jennifer Aniston takes the latest cover of Entertainment Weekly in promotion of her latest flick, Marley & Me.
She is ready to become a mum, but she fears the tabloids have ruined her big reveal.
The actress, who is currently dating rocker John Mayer, is begging gossips and columnists to stop prematurely announcing her pregnancy – because she wants the happy news to be a big deal when she eventually does become a mum-to-be.
She tells Entertainment Weekly magazine, “It’s almost going to take away the fun from actually being able to say one day, ‘I’m pregnant!’
“Everyone will be like, ‘Yeah, right.’ It’s the boy who cried wolf. Stop stealing my thunder, motherf**kers!’
“I feel like that’s (pregnancy) in my future and I’m on the verge of it in some way.”
Here are some highlights from the interview
On the rumors that she’s carrying boyfriend John Mayer’s baby: “Oh my God, it’s hysterical . It’s almost going to take away the fun from actually being able to say one day, ‘I’m pregnant!’”
On motherhood being in her future: “I’m on the verge of it in some way—or it’s something I long for.”
On her Vogue quote (”What Angelina did was very uncool”) being taken out of context : “I was just surprised that Vogue would go so tabloid. I was bummed. But you almost expect it. Big deal. Done. Next.”
Marley & Me opens in theaters everywhere Christmas Day.
