Regina Marie “Jenna” Fischer (born March 7, 1974)is an American actress and director. She is most widely known for her Emmy-nominated[2] portrayal of Pam Halpert (née Beesly) on the NBC situation comedy and mockumentary The Office, and has also appeared in several films, including Blades of Glory, Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story, The Promotion and Hall Pass.
Took her first acting class with Sean Gunn (who stars as Kirk on WB’s “Gilmore Girls” (2000)) at the age of six in St. Louis, Missouri. The class was taught by her mother, Anne Fischer. Jenna and Sean stayed in touch over the years and in October 2000 she married his brother, writer/director James Gunn The two are now divorced.

Originally enrolled at Truman State University as a Pre-Law student; later changed to Theatre.

Went to Nerinx Hall, an all girls Catholic school in Webster Groves, Missouri.
On “The Office” (2005), the characters are all put off by Angela’s (Angela Kinsey) creepy preoccupation with cute pictures of cats. In real life, Fischer has admitted she is an enthusiast of the same thing.
Is a fan of the NFL’s Dallas Cowboys and an avid fan of the St. Louis Cardinals baseball team.
Is best friends with “The Office” (2005) co-star, Angela Kinsey, and is Godmother to Kinsey’s daughter, Isabel.
Got engaged to Lee Kirk on June 30, 2009 and planning a Summer 2010 wedding in Los Angeles.
Jenna and her husband, Lee Kirk, are expecting their first child [May 14, 2011].
