Hilary Duff and Joel Madden split

 

 

Pop star and actress Hilary Duff and her boyfriend, Good Charlotte rocker Joel Madden, have reportedly ended their relationship.

According to media reports in the US, Madden told fellow clubbers at Chicago, Illinois club Enclave that Duff had broken up with him.

He said that the age difference – Duff is 19, Madden is 27 – caused problems in their relationship.
 
Madden recently completed a tour in advance of Good Charlotte’s new album ‘Good Morning Revival’, due for release in March 2007.

Duff recently appeared on Irish screens in ‘Cheaper by the Dozen 2′.
