Pregnant Halle Berry has sealed her commitment to boyfriend Gabriel Aubry by accepting his gift of a $10,000 eternity ring.
The actress, 41, has previously revealed she has no desire to wed model Aubry after two failed marriages — first to former baseball player David Justice in 1992 and then to singer Eric Benet in 2001. Her second union ended in divorce in 2005.
But Berry has been happy to show off her Cartier pave diamond eternity platinum ring from Aubry, a present from the 32-year-old to celebrate the upcoming birth of their baby.
An insider tells In Touch Weekly they already think of themselves as a married couple, even without the legal document to prove it.
The source adds of the ring, “It’s gorgeous. The diamonds aren’t huge but they are perfectly cut and sparkle.
“Gabriel gave Halle the ring to symbolize their commitment.”
Halle Berry, who is due to give birth in the spring, has been spotted flaunting her new piece of jewelry at a Cartier event in Los Angeles earlier this month.

Not true. InTouch Weekly, forgot to mention that Cartier was a sponsor at the event and they gave Halle permission to wear the ring on loan for the evening with maybe giving it to her as a gift. Got 411 from a good friend of mine who was working the film festival that night and for the rest of the festival. ITW is the same supermarket ragmag that said Halle bought Aubry a $150K Mercedes-Benz when he already has one which he’s had for years. Not a reliable source.
If he did actually give her a $10K pave diamond/platinum ring combo, he had to have it specially made, since Cartier doesn’t usually carry a lot of their $10K diamond/platinum rings in stock. Seriously, doubt it when the guy has never bought her any jewelry other than a matching friendship necklace in Canada at Halle’s insistance.
The other ring she occasionally wears isn’t from Aubry either and she’s had for awhile.
