Today sees the release of a first poster for FRANKENWEENIE courtesy of Walt Disney Pictures, Tim Burton’s latest animated feature which boasts the voice talents of Winona Ryder, Martin Short, Catherine O’Hara, Martin Landau, Charlie Tahan, Atticus Shaffer, Robert Capron and Conchata Ferrell.
Based off Burton’s own 1984 live-action short-film, Frankenweenie is about a young boy who goes Victor Frankenstein in order to revive his beloved dog, Sparky. The animated movie expands on the plot by having Sparky wreak havoc on the town. The poster says “From the Director of Alice in Wonderland,” which makes sense since that movie grossed over a billion dollars worldwide.
