Edward Paul “Ed” Helms (born January 24, 1974) is an American actor and comedian known for his work as a correspondent on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, as Andy Bernard on the US version of the sitcom/mockumentary The Office and for his role as Dr. Stu Price in The Hangover films.
Has done much voiceover work for companies such as Lycos, CDnow.com, Burger King, etc..
Graduated from Oberlin College.
Went to Westminster High School in Atlanta, Georgia, with Brian Baumgartner, fellow cast member on “The Office” (2005).
Plays the banjo and piano, and has played both in some of his TV and movie appearances. Wrote and sang “Stu’s Song” in The Hangover (2009).
Lived in New York City for 10 years.
Enjoys bluegrass music and playing the banjo.
