Drew Barrymore thinks sex and swearing was a recipe for success when it came to her latest movie Going The Distance.

The actress said that she wanted the film to be as realistic as possible and made sex scenes and bad language a must.

Barrymore, 35, stars alongside rumoured boyfriend Justin Long. She told the Daily Telegraph, ‘It was so great to be able to talk the way I do in real life.

‘I think a film about real love and what we go through in relationships would be impossible to do authentically if it didn’t have any sex and bad language. It wouldn’t be realistic.’
