This title may sound painful on the ears but that’s reality. Forbes has just released a list of Hollywood actresses and actors who do not successfully bring in profits for the studio even though they have been paid handsomely. The name at the top of the list this year is Drew Barrymore.
According to news reported by Contact Music, during the last 12 months, Drew Barrymore only managed to bring in money as much as 40 cents for every U.S. $ 1 spent on producing the film which he starred. GOING THE DISTANCE for example, only managed to collect about U.S. $ 17.8 million of the cost of production which reached U.S. $ 32 million.
The names of other entries in this short list is Eddie Murphy, Reese Witherspoon, Denzel Washington, Nicolas Cage and Adam Sandler.
