Diane Lane made a recent appearance on Jay Leno and briefly mentioned playing the part of Martha Kent in the Zack Snyder directed Superman reboot the “Man of Steel.”

She mentions that she read script under lock and key, and you can tell that, pardon the pun, she is super excited to be a part of this big budget film.

Superman flies into theaters December 2012 directed by Zack Snyder starring, Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, Diane Lane as Martha “Ma” Kent, Kevin Costner as Jonathan “Pa” Kent and Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
